On September 17, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Artsakh counterpart Masis Mailyan.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia noted with satisfaction the frequent meetings and consultations between the two departments as they are of great importance for raising the efficiency of bilateral cooperation and implementing a coordinated policy on different foreign policy issues.
During the meeting the sides discussed priority directions of the foreign policy agenda of the two Armenian states.
The sides touched upon the situation in the process of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement.
The sides underlined the importance of maintaining the negotiation dynamics and stressed the necessity of using political and diplomatic measures.
They also exchanged views on the perspectives of the Artsakh Republic’s full participation in the negotiations, as well as steps towards the international recognition of Artsakh.
Masis Mayilyan awarded Zohrab Mnatsakanyan with a commemorative medal dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry.
