President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed the NATO operation in the framework of the Union State. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

We remind that Lukashenka and Putin on Friday took part in the CIS summit held in Tajikistan.

“The security issue is one of the key issues at the summit. All the presidents speak about this, taking into account the dangers and challenges of Western countries and NATO within the borders of the Commonwealth, ” – Lukashenka said.

The president did not report the details of the conversation, noting that he had talked with Putin “on this issue.”

The Belarusian President also drew attention to the fact that other military factors, which were discussed in Dushanbe, also dominate the security sphere.

“The factors of the East of Ukraine, Transnistria, especially Nagorno Karabakh.We have to somehow organize and destroy these Gordian knots, “he added.
